Temporary visibility
Visibility is activated by you and lasts 15, 30, or 60 minutes. You cannot make a session last longer than the timer you picked.
Signal has a small set of capabilities and a clear reason for each. There is no roadmap hidden in the product; what is here is the whole product.
Visibility is activated by you and lasts 15, 30, or 60 minutes. You cannot make a session last longer than the timer you picked.
You see the active participants in your current radar cell of roughly one kilometre. You see them only while your own session is active.
You write a short, plain-text intent that says what you would be open to. The intent is not a profile and is not stored after the session ends.
Other participants appear with whole-meter distance and a quantized direction. Both are approximate by design — they exist to give you a sense of "near", not to triangulate.
You can react to another signal with one of five short gestures — wave, heart, laugh, thumbs up, thumbs down. Reactions are not chat. They do not thread, do not store, and do not follow anyone.
