Privacy model
The technical privacy choices that make the privacy model real, not aspirational.
No background location
Signal only requests foreground location while a session is active. The app does not contain a background service that keeps the radar live when the app is closed.
No exact coordinates
The exact point read from the device is reduced to a coarse approximation before being used to publish into a radar cell. The exact point is not transmitted.
No persistent identity
There is no profile, no handle, no name visible on the radar. Telegram linkage happens out-of-band only when you choose to share it.
